Payment Policy
This Payment Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding payment for cleaning services provided by House Cleaning New Jersey. By booking and receiving services from House Cleaning New Jersey, you agree to adhere to the following policy.
- Payment Due Date:
- Payment is due upon completion of the cleaning service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
- Accepted Payment Methods:
- We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit/Debit Cards
- Payment Terms:
- For recurring cleaning services (e.g., weekly, bi-weekly, monthly), payment is due on the day of each scheduled cleaning.
- For one-time cleaning services, payment is due upon completion of the service.
- Late Payment Fees:
- Payments not received within 7 days of the due date will be considered late and will be subject to a late payment fee of 2% of the total invoice amount or $25, whichever is greater.
- Continued failure to pay may result in suspension of services and/or legal action to recover outstanding balances.
- Cancellation Policy:
- To avoid a cancellation fee, we require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service cost.
- If we are unable to access the property to perform the scheduled service due to client negligence (e.g., locked doors, no key provided, alarm not deactivated), it will be considered a cancellation with insufficient notice and subject to the cancellation fee.
- Gratuity:
- Gratuity is not included in our standard rates and cannot be added to the payment. If you would like to offer a gratuity, you are welcome to provide it to the cleaning staff directly in cash.
- Estimates and Quotes:
- Estimates are based on our experience and the information provided by the client. The final price may vary depending on the actual condition of the property and the time required to complete the service. We will communicate any significant price changes to you before proceeding with the work.
- Quotes are binding and will not change unless the scope of work changes, or the actual condition of the property is significantly different than initially described.
- Disputes:
- Any disputes regarding the invoice or the quality of service must be reported to us within 2 days of the service date. We will make every effort to resolve the issue to your satisfaction.
- Service Guarantee:
- We strive for 100% customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with our service, please contact us within 12 hours of the cleaning, and we will return to re-clean the areas of concern free of charge. This guarantee does not apply to services that require additional time or resources that were not included in the original agreement.
- Changes to this Policy:
- House Cleaning New Jersey reserves the right to modify this payment policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and/or communicated to clients directly.
